Almost one hundred tracks were recorded by Ken Colyer's Jazzmen in the year between Ken's return from New Orleans and the formation of the original band, and the split between Ken and the rest of the band, which led to the formation of Chris Barber's Jazz Band on 31 May, 1954. Fans of both the Colyer and Barber bands -- as well as collectors -- will likely being interested in the following complete discography, showing where the tracks can be purchased on compact discs (almost all of which have been issued since the end of 2003). |
